I have been a practicing witch for almost two years now. I spent the first 6 months in deep study of a wide range of topics and then remained in a lighter study from there on. I have knowledge of a wide array of topics, and can help answer any questions you may have.
My reply
I have been practicing for fourteen years, some years light study, others I have gone more in depth. I have been solitary, and I am in a coven as a knowledgeable witch, though I never claimed nor do I claim now, that I am. I cannot boast, not now, and not ever, that I know a 'wide array of topics', only that I might study a decent amount of topics in my own interests, in my opinion, and know nothing for sure as to what I have gained understanding. Such things only shows arrogance and ignorance.
Just after she says this, someone asks her about putting stones in the freezer, as in, what would be the reason?
SHE DID NOT KNOW THE ANSWER AS TO WHY (the faux know-it-all). She did not even give it a shot, look it up, or anything. Simply said (AFTER HAVING KNOWLEDGE IN A WIDE ARRAY OF TOPICS AND BEING ABLE TO ANSWER 'ANY' QUESTIONS) that she ONLY DID HERBAL WORK.
The God and Goddess should be weeping at this, in my opinion.
My suggestion was only one of what could be possibly many reasons, which was, freezer bag magic, which I have used as one of my favorite things, where one would put the ingredients used to help a spell be more direct and it's more specific purpose would be put in a bag, or freezer, and then whatever was needed done would be done.
In my experience it has not yet failed me.
I was quite offended by this, to the point that I obviously decided to post about it. Of course, this made her look ignorant, because of her boast she could not keep. This probably makes me childish by posting this. However, I really dislike when people are such know it alls and yet know nothing, and do not even try to suggest anything after doing research on my behalf to answer the question I do not know. Another word for the know-it-all. LAZY.
And 'THE' witch (the know-it-all) of the place.... that's what she calls herself, without even figuring there could not be not one single person IN A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE SIMILAR INTERESTS that there may be another person with knowledge of magic or whatnot... really...?
Now, I do know I am not perfect, I do not know it all, or even a lot of things, but I refuse to stand by when someone who has been studying much less than I and claiming to know so much more than I am willing to admit to know, and could not support it...by the Gods, it has me vexed with a passion....
